Wellness Adventure Retreat in Peru & Machu Picchu
August 5th-10th, 2024
It’s time to take a week long adventurous retreat to Peru with your incredible parter! Come and explore ancient Incan grounds, while staying in a beatuful Peruvian lodge located in Ollantaytambo, Peru in South America.
We will be staying in at a hotel called StarDome Lodge, located on a mountain top, and just a train ride away from Machu Picchu.
You will be joined by 5 other couples on this retreat, including myself and my husband! Each morning, there will be yoga inside the top of the StarDome. Other options could be to go on a morning walks, or sleeping in! We will be going on multiple hikes on this trip, exploring a few different Incan ruins with local guides who will keep us safe, and in the know about Peru’s current cultures and ancient histories. Each day you will enjoy delicious Peruvian meals, made from freshly grown and harvested vegetables and fruits grown in the gardens of Stardome Lodge. Massages will be available upon request! I’m sure we’ll need a few of those this week! There will be opportunities to explore different local ancient temples dedicated to Incan gods, and opportunities to get creative and learn from local artisans. We will be exploring local villages and attending an Andean Weaving workshop with the native women of Rumira. You and your partner will get to experience a romantic picnic together either in the gardens of StarDome Lodge, or somewhere on a sacred mountain top!
We will be attuning back to our partners and to nature by spending more time using our senses, and participating in creative heart opening activities together. Leaning in to the gratitude we have for each other, as well as this earth.

My name is Gabby, and I will be your facilitator throughout this week-long retreat. I am an Art Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor and world traveler based in Vermont. I am so excited to experience this Wellness Adventure Retreat with you in Peru!
I have planned some calming, creative, fun and adventurous experiences for us to do here. We’ll be focusing on attuning back to nature, and the wonderful partner you brought with you. This will allow you and your partner time away from responsibilities, and allow time to experience Awe and Wonder while being culturally immersed in the beauty of Peru’s rich history.

Sol y Luna (Sun and Moon) symbolizes the duality of feminine and masculine energy–the union of Pachamama (mother earth) and Inti Tayta (the sun). The Sol y Luna Suite has two beds: one queen-sized and one full-sized. Your private garden with Inca-style terraces and native flowers is a beautiful spot for sunbathing and viewing of the mountains.

The Apus are our protective spirits that transcend boundaries and titles. Whether we feel it or not, we experience them everyday. The Apu Suite is the only room which has both a fireplace and a jacuzzi. It is our most private space but still includes access to the top floor of the dome. The room features a king-sized bed and easy access to all amenities offered on property.
